New Custom Home Builds

A Custom Home Built the Way You Actually Want to Live
Tocher Construction has been building homes across the Willamette Valley since 2015, starting with Troy working alone alongside his father and growing into four skilled crews. A custom home build touches nearly every part of the company: our in-house teams, our vetted local subcontractors, and a founder who still walks every job site personally. We build homes that reflect how a family actually lives, not just what looks good on paper.
You'll Always Know Where Your Build Stands
A custom home is a long project, and trust matters more with every month that passes. Troy built this company on always returning calls and treating clients honestly, even when the news isn’t what they want to hear. You’ll get real updates, a crew that respects your property, and a team that refuses to cut corners on a project this personal.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do you build on land I already own?
Yes. Many of our custom home clients already own their lot. We’ll walk the property with you early on to assess site conditions, utilities, and anything that could affect the build before design work begins.
How involved can I be in the design and material selections?
As involved as you’d like to be. Some clients bring detailed plans and finishes already picked out; others want guidance through every decision. We adjust to how hands-on you want to be.
How long does a custom home build usually take?
Timelines depend on the size of the home, site conditions, permitting, and material availability. We’ll give you a realistic schedule once your plans and site details are finalized, and keep you updated if anything shifts along the way.
Do you use subcontractors, and are they trustworthy?
For specialty trades, yes. Every subcontractor we work with is local, personally vetted by Troy, and held to the same standards as our in-house crews. We don’t bring in anyone we wouldn’t trust on our own homes.
