Residential Remodels & Additions

Remodels and Additions That Fit the Way You Live
Troy Tocher spent years remodeling and flipping homes before founding Tocher Construction, and that hands-on experience shows in how we approach every remodel. Whether you’re adding a bedroom, opening up a kitchen, or reworking a layout that’s stopped making sense, our crews plan the project around your daily life, not just the square footage. We work in occupied homes carefully and communicate constantly, so living through a remodel doesn’t feel like living through a construction site.
Clean, Careful Work From Start to Finish
Our crews are known for being respectful and comfortable to have around families, which matters most when the work is happening inside your home. We protect your space, keep job sites clean, and stay in close contact throughout the project. No job is too small to get our full attention, and every phone call gets returned.

Frequently Asked Questions
What kinds of outdoor living projects do you build?
Covered patios, outdoor kitchens, pergolas, and combined living spaces that connect to the main house. We’ll talk through how you use your backyard and design around that, rather than building a generic add-on.
Will the outdoor space match the style of my existing home?
Yes. We design outdoor living areas to feel like a natural extension of your home’s style and materials, not a separate structure bolted onto the back of it.
Can you work with an existing patio or deck, or does it need to be torn out?
It depends on the condition and layout of what’s already there. In many cases we can build onto or around an existing structure. We’ll assess it during our first walkthrough and give you an honest recommendation either way.
Do outdoor kitchens need special plumbing or electrical work?
Most do, especially if you’re adding a sink, refrigerator, or lighting. We coordinate that work as part of the build so everything is planned and installed correctly from the start.
